Abstract

Soil is characterized by great environmental importance as it represents the third natural component after air and water. It is the basic medium in which plants grow, which in turn is the first link in the food chain for the rest of living organisms, whether from humans or animals. The study aims to know the productive capacity of the soil in the Wadi basin. Umm Al-Shabeet, southwest of the undulating region, through its chemical and physical properties, through which its ability to produce agricultural production is determined based on the (SYS) equation, as it showed that the soil of the region falls under the categories (S2, S3, S4), which are of varying suitability for agricultural crops. different in the region.
